About me
Hello, I am Duygu. I am the other half of Kubilay, a complementary member of Two Psychologists. I am doing the job I wanted throughout my school life in a place I did not expect, and contrary to the reaction I usually get (how do you do it, isn't it difficult, etc.), I look at it as a field where I can gain different experiences. If I start the story a little further back, after graduating from high school, I entered Ankara University and moved to Ankara for my university education, and that 'gray' city made sense to me. I graduated from the Psychology Department, which I entered very willingly, pursuing things that would improve myself. I must have run a lot during this period because I had the opportunity to go to different parts of the world with the great support of my family. Sometimes alone, sometimes unplanned, with my close friends, my life partner, my mother, my family...
After graduation, I worked as a psychologist in different places. With children in the nursery, adolescents, victims of violence, perpetrators of violence... Each client is a different story and I feel that they add completely different colors to me. Even though I am still new to the field, when I look back a few years, it puts a smile on my face when I think about the things I did professionally with good intentions but now wish I didn't do. I think it's the tenderness I feel when I look from my 'mature' self to my 'immature' self, and that feeling is truly enjoyable.
Basically, if you ask me what I like to do most in life, my answer would be experience and travel.
Doing the things you enjoy in life and sharing it. I think it's a good idea!
